It's the Final Countdown!

We only have a few days left in the States and a lot to do! We've been busy cramming in visits and getting everything in order for our trip. We finally booked our tickets and got our place to live! YAY! We are pretty happy with the house we settled on but nervous to see it in person. It's a huuuge house that we're sharing with other people ((strangers)). Kurt and I have a bedroom and everyone will share the kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. This should be an adventure in itself! We're excited to meet our roommates and see this place up close.

This past weekend we had our Bon Voyage party with all of our friends and family. What a perfect day! Kurt and I had a blast and were so happy to see everyone before we head out. We have the best friends and the most loving family -- we're truly blessed. Thank you to all who came, we're going to miss you all so much! On a side note, we should have parties like that more often.....

Back Home to Waldron

Last week Kurt and I moved out of our apartment in Lafayette, IN. After a long week of organizing, cleaning and packing.....we made it!!! It was bittersweet to move out of our first place together but we were pretty excited to get the heck out of there. Especially me - do know how hard it was to be surrounded by black and gold? I was constantly reminded that I was a lone Hoosier in Boilermaker country. I do have to give props to Purdue for breakfast club, though! But that's it.        :)

Along with leaving the apartment, came leaving my job. I will miss everyone at NAMI-WCI, especially Pattie. It was a great job to have while Kurt finished his year at Purdue. I left the position in good hands, though. My replacement, Michelle, was a joy to have around during my last week and I wish we had more time together. I plan to send them post cards from our travels!!!

We are pretty happy to be back in Waldron ((who knew??)) When we were in High School, we couldn't wait to get out of here and now, it's the best place to be! We love being able to see our family and friends whenever we want. Especially Landon, Hayden, and Skyler! We'll only be around for a few more weeks so make sure you stop by and see us!
